Milon K. Nag

Chairman and Managing Director


Mr Milon K. Nag has been the Managing Director of the Company since 1995 and, since 2007, has also been the company’s Chairman. Mr Nag joined K. K. Nag Pvt. Ltd in 1987 as Vice President – Marketing and later took charge as Executive Director (from 1988 to 1994). Prior to that, he worked for Price Waterhouse in USA as a Management Consultant.

Mr Nag is an active Member of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and has been Co-Chair of CII’s National Task Force on the Ease of Doing Business since 2017. In 2016-17, he was Co-Chair of CII’s National MSME Council and he has been a Member of the CII National Council since 2016. He has held several other offices at CII.

He was Chairman of the CII Maharashtra State Council for the year 2010-11 and was Chairman of the MSME Sub-Committee of CII Western Region for the year 2011-12. He has been a member of the Dean’s Council (2005 onwards) and a member of the Global Dean’s Council (2015 onwards) of the Kelley School of Business, Indiana University, USA. He serves on the Governing Councils of the Centre For Learning Resources and the KEM Hospital Society and is a Trustee of the Nag Foundation, which is a charitable trust set up by K. K. Nag Pvt. Ltd.

Mr Nag received the Distinguished Entrepreneur Award from the Kelley School of Business Alumni Association for the year 2018. He is also the recipient of the Rotary Water Award 2020.

Nishikant N. Dange

Director


Mr Nishikant N. Dange has been a Director on the Board of the Company since 2019. He joined our company as an Assistant Engineer in the Production department in 1995 and has only excelled since. In 2007 Mr Dange was given the responsibility of commissioning our Ranjangaon (Pune) foam moulding plant which he was able to do successfully. Total Quality Management and Total Productive Maintenance were implemented at the plant within 6 months leading to Ranjangaon becoming one of our best plants in terms of 5S, productivity and profit.

In 2014 Mr Dange was given the responsibility of our Urse (Pune) foam moulding plant. Within 6 months he was able to turn the plant around by reducing conversion costs and increasing profit. In 2019 Mr Dange was then given the responsibility of our Thiruvallur (Chennai) and Kariamanickkam (Puducherry) foam moulding plants as well. Currently, Mr Dange oversees all 4 of our foam moulding plants. His journey truly encapsulates our company culture of encouraging members to thrive in their individual careers as the company prospers.

Samir S. Oke

Director


Mr Samir S. Oke has been a Director on the Board of the Company since 2019. When Mr Oke joined our company in 2013 he took on the role of vendor management and settlement. He resolved several pre-existing issues and implemented new systems to manage and encourage timely payments. During his tenure Mr Oke has negotiated better payment terms with our customers, improved our cash flows and handled negotiations with our primary raw material supplier, all of which have led to higher profit margins for the Company. Mr Oke was also able to recover a substantial insurance amount when we had a fire at our Bangalore plant.

Currently, Mr Oke leads the Accounts and Finance function for all our divisions. During the Covid-19 pandemic Mr Oke ensured that all finance-related activities carried on despite the lockdown and restrictions. He is the primary propagator of the automation movement that the Company is undergoing.

Mukund J. Haval

Vice President


Mr Mukund J. Haval leads the Business Development function for all our foam moulding divisions. Since he joined as Vice President in 2020, Mr Haval and his team were able to grow the Company’s top line despite the Covid-19 pandemic! Mr Haval has successfully coordinated the development of new product lines for prestigious customers. He has also implemented a Key Account Management (KAM) structure in the Business Development team to streamline business processes, drive excellence in customer engagement and enable a sense of ownership amongst the team members.

Mukund J. Haval

Satish S. Kulkarni

General Manager


Mr Satish S. Kulkarni has been an active member of our KKN family for over 20 years. He joined as an Assistant Engineer in Maintenance in 1997 and was promoted to General Manager in 2013. Mr Kulkarni started our Rotational Moulding division in 2004. The division has exported more than 4 lakh squatting slabs to over 40 countries till date. His other achievements include successfully moulding in-built Polyethylene (PE) partitions and composite moulding PE with Polycarbonate (PC) and PE with EPS inside, none of which have been done by any rotational moulders in India thus far.

If you don’t go after what you want, you will never have it. If you don’t ask, the answer is always NO. If you don’t step forward, you will always be stuck.
Set directions and lead team members to achieve total customer satisfaction. This can be achieved with the help of TQM and other management techniques.

S. Venkatakrishnan

General Manager


Mr S. Venkatakrishnan has been an active member of our KKN family for the past 30 years. During this time he has contributed to various departments such as Accounts and Finance, Stores and Purchase, FGW and Business Development. In 2015 he was promoted to General Manager of the Business Development function. Mr Venkatakrishnan leads this function for our South divisions. His focus areas are customer acquisition, customer relationship management and training of new Business Development members. In 2017 and 2020 Mr Venkatakrishnan single-handedly acquired two of our major customer accounts in the South.

Satish S. Kulkarni

General Manager


Mr Satish S. Kulkarni has been an active member of our KKN family for over 20 years. He joined as an Assistant Engineer in Maintenance in 1997 and was promoted to General Manager in 2013. Mr S. Palaniselvam joined our company in 1995 as a Trainee Supervisor. He was promoted to General Manager in 2020. Currently, Mr Palaniselvam oversees both our foam moulding plants in the South. Over the past 25 years Mr Palaniselvam has ensured that his Puducherry division has broken several records. He has done so by continuously innovating and introducing new methods and technologies, an example of which is the chiller system that is now used at Puducherry. Mr Palaniselvam’s contribution to decreasing costs, eliminating rejections and increasing the overall productivity of the division has greatly benefitted the company.

One important key to success is self-confidence, and the key to self-confidence is preparation.

Mitali M. Nag

General Manager


Ms Mitali M. Nag joined our company in 2019 as a Deputy General Manager at the Corporate Office. In 2021 Ms Nag was promoted to General Manager. Ms Nag launched RecyCole, the first Thermocole (EPS) recycling initiative of its kind in India, in March 2021. She has been working with local government and waste collection organisations to make this project a success. Ms Nag has also manages the Company’s social media accounts and oversees all automation projects.

S. Palaniselvam

General Manager


Mr S. Palaniselvam joined our company in 1995 as a Trainee Supervisor. He was promoted to General Manager in 2020. Currently, Mr Palaniselvam oversees both our foam moulding plants in the South. Shashikant V. Kadekar

Senior Deputy General Manager


Mr Shashikant V. Kadekar leads our Engineering Support Division (ESD). Since he joined our company in 2020 he has been promoted to Senior Deputy General Manager. Mr Kadekar has revamped several operations in the Tool Room to eliminate bottlenecks and increase the efficiency of our processes. He has single-handedly enhanced the technical skills of members belonging to our in-house team as well as of members at our suppliers’ end. He has used his extensive knowledge from his previous experience to introduce new technologies (e.g. laser welding), cut down costs, decrease lead times and increase the overall productivity of our Engineering Support Division.

None can destroy iron, but its own rust can. Likewise, none can destroy a person, but his own mind-set can.
A leader is one who knows the way, goes the way and shows the way.

G. Tamilan

Deputy General Manager


Mr G. Tamilan joined our company in 1998 as a Supervisor. He was promoted to Deputy General Manager in 2016. Over the past 25 years Mr Tamilan has introduced several improvements which have benefitted the company overall, such as sourcing local suppliers to provide us with machinery that would otherwise need to be purchased from international suppliers, reducing both wait times and cost. Mr Tamilan has visited different countries such as Germany, Russia and Turkey on behalf of the Company to inspect and select machines for our foam moulding divisions.

Shashikant V. Kadekar

Kedar S. Nimbalkar

Deputy General Manager


Mr Kedar S. Nimbalkar has been leading our HR function since he joined as a Deputy General Manager in 2020. Mr Nimbalkar has overseen and ensured our success in multiple external ethical and social audits. He has managed to streamline and improve the coordination between the corporate and plant HR teams. He has also taken responsibility for the welfare of each and every KKN employee during the Covid-19 pandemic by conducting vaccination drives and supporting members affected by Covid-19.

I always welcome challenges because challenges give you opportunities to figure out ways to overcome them. You learn so much in the process.
