Milon K. Nag

Chairman and Managing Director


Mr Milon K. Nag has been the Managing Director of the Company since 1995 and, since 2007, has also been the company’s Chairman. Mr Nag joined K. K. Nag Pvt. Ltd in 1987 as Vice President – Marketing and later took charge as Executive Director (from 1988 to 1994). Prior to that, he worked for Price Waterhouse in USA as a Management Consultant.

Mr Nag is an active Member of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and has been Co-Chair of CII’s National Task Force on the Ease of Doing Business since 2017. In 2016-17, he was Co-Chair of CII’s National MSME Council and he has been a Member of the CII National Council since 2016. He has held several other offices at CII.

He was Chairman of the CII Maharashtra State Council for the year 2010-11 and was Chairman of the MSME Sub-Committee of CII Western Region for the year 2011-12. He has been a member of the Dean’s Council (2005 onwards) and a member of the Global Dean’s Council (2015 onwards) of the Kelley School of Business, Indiana University, USA. He serves on the Governing Council of the KEM Hospital Society and is a Trustee of the Nag Foundation, which is a charitable trust set up by K. K. Nag Pvt. Ltd.

Mr Nag received the Distinguished Entrepreneur Award from the Kelley School of Business Alumni Association for the year 2018. He is also the recipient of the Rotary Water Award 2020.

Nishikant N. Dange

Director


Mr Nishikant N. Dange has been a Director on the Board of the Company since 2019. He joined our company as an Assistant Engineer in the Production department in 1995 and has only excelled since. In 2007 Mr Dange was given the responsibility of commissioning our Ranjangaon (Pune) foam moulding plant which he was able to do successfully. Total Quality Management and Total Productive Maintenance were implemented at the plant within 6 months leading to Ranjangaon becoming one of our best plants in terms of 5S, productivity and profit.

In 2014 Mr Dange was given the responsibility of our Urse (Pune) foam moulding plant. Within 6 months he was able to turn the plant around by reducing conversion costs and increasing profit. In 2019 Mr Dange was then given the responsibility of our Thiruvallur (Chennai) and Kariamanickkam (Puducherry) foam moulding plants as well. Subsequently, in 2022, Mr Dange was asked to oversee our newest foam moulding plant in Sriperumbudur (Chennai) and our Engineering Support Division (ESD), which is responsible for manufacturing our moulds. Currently, Mr Dange oversees all 5 of our foam moulding plants. His journey truly encapsulates our company culture of encouraging members to thrive in their individual careers as the company prospers.

Samir S. Oke

Director


Mr Samir S. Oke initially studied Science and has a BSc degree in Electronics, Physics and Mathematics. He later switched tracks to Finance and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1994. When Mr Oke joined our company in 2013, he took on the additional role of vendor management and settlement. He resolved several pre-existing issues and implemented new systems to manage and encourage timely payments. During the Covid-19 pandemic, Mr Oke ensured that all finance-related activities carried on despite the lockdown and restrictions. Currently, Mr Oke leads the Accounts and Finance function for all our divisions.

Mr Oke is totally committed to the cause of the company and has considerably streamlined the company’s finances. He has demonstrated excellent administrative abilities and has shown great leadership. He does not restrict himself just to the Finance and Accounting functions but takes an avid interest in all aspects of our business. He is the primary propagator of the automation movement that the company is undergoing.

Mr Oke was appointed as a Director on the Board of the company in 2019. Over the 54-year history of the company, K. K. Nag Pvt. Ltd has had thousands of members but only 5 have been made Directors. This is a true testimony to Mr Oke’s outstanding contribution to the company.

Mitali M. Nag

Director


Ms Mitali M. Nag joined our company in 2019 as a Deputy General Manager at the Corporate Office. In March 2021, Ms Nag launched RecyCole, the first Thermocole (EPS) recycling initiative of its kind in India. In 2023, Ms Nag earned an MBA degree from Babson College following which she was promoted to Director. In addition to launching RecyCole, Ms Nag is deeply involved with the company’s HR, IT and Systems, Quality, Business Development, and Innovation functions. Ms Nag also manages the company’s social media accounts and oversees its digital automation initiatives.

Mr Jayddep D. Pawar joined our Company in 2022 as Vice President – Business Development. He leads the Business Development function for all our foam moulding divisions. Mr Pawar has cross functional experience in end-to-end business operations viz. P&L management, sales channel management, product management, strategic sourcing, new product development, supply chain management, lean and green manufacturing and customer service. He is a strong advocator of change and technology. In his last stint as Regional Business Head for a leading consumer durable company, Mr Pawar was responsible for network and channel management/development and P&L management by ensuring the right product mix and devising the pricing strategy for the region.

Mr Pawar has cross functional experience in end-to-end business operations viz. P&L management, sales channel management, product management, strategic sourcing, new product development, supply chain management, lean and green manufacturing and customer service. He is a strong advocator of change and technology. In his last stint as Regional Business Head for a leading consumer durable company, Mr Pawar was responsible for network and channel management/development and P&L management by ensuring the right product mix and devising the pricing strategy for the region.

Satish S. Kulkarni

Mr Satish S. Kulkarni has been an active member of our KKN family for over 20 years. He joined as an Assistant Engineer in Maintenance in 1997 and was promoted to General Manager in 2013. Mr Kulkarni started our Rotational Moulding division in 2004. The division has exported more than 4 lakh squatting slabs to over 40 countries till date. His other achievements include successfully moulding in-built Polyethylene (PE) partitions and composite moulding PE with Polycarbonate (PC) and PE with EPS inside, none of which have been done by any rotational moulders in India thus far.

Over the past 25 years Mr Palaniselvam has ensured that his Puducherry division has broken several records. He has done so by continuously innovating and introducing new methods and technologies, an example of which is the chiller system that is now used at Puducherry. Mr Palaniselvam’s contribution to decreasing costs, eliminating rejections and increasing the overall productivity of the division has greatly benefitted the company.

Shashikant V. Kadekar

Senior Deputy General Manager


Mr Shashikant V. Kadekar leads our Engineering Support Division (ESD). He joined our company in 2020 and was promoted to General Manager in 2022. Mr Kadekar has revamped several operations in the Tool Room to eliminate bottlenecks and increase the efficiency of our processes. He has enhanced the technical skill sets of members belonging to our in-house team as well as of members at our suppliers’ end. He has used his extensive knowledge from his previous experience to implement new innovative ideas and methodologies to cut down costs, decrease lead times and increase the overall productivity of our Engineering Support Division.

G. Tamilan

Deputy General Manager


Mr G. Tamilan joined our company in 1998 as a Supervisor. He was promoted to Deputy General Manager in 2016. Over the past 25 years Mr Tamilan has introduced several improvements which have benefitted the company overall, such as sourcing local suppliers to provide us with machinery that would otherwise need to be purchased from international suppliers, reducing both wait times and cost. Mr Tamilan has visited different countries such as Germany, Russia and Turkey on behalf of the Company to inspect and select machines for our foam moulding divisions.

Kedar S. Nimbalkar

Deputy General Manager


Mr Kedar S. Nimbalkar joined our company as a Deputy General Manager in 2020 in the HR function. Mr Nimbalkar has overseen and ensured our success in multiple external ethical and social audits. He has been integral to streamlining and improving the coordination between the corporate and plant HR teams. During the Covid-19 pandemic, he took responsibility for the welfare of each and every KKN employee by conducting vaccination drives and supporting members affected by Covid-19.

Mahesh S. Mane

Deputy General Manager


Mr Mahesh S. Mane has been leading the Quality function for all our divisions since he joined our Company in 2021. He has single-handedly designed K. K. Nag Pvt. Ltd’s Operational Excellence (KOpEx) programme, which is a customised roadmap to bring all our divisions on a common improvement platform. With the help of the Quality members at each division, Mr Mane executes this programme through simple trainings for each module. The healthy competition has led to a complete transformation of all our plastics manufacturing divisions and our Tool Room. The KOpEx journey has also strengthened the 5S, Safety, Zero Defect and Total Quality Management (TQM) culture at K. K. Nag Pvt. Ltd. In 2022, Mr Mane started the GreenCo journey for 5 of our 6 divisions. GreenCo aims at business sustainability through resource management, which in turn improves the bottom line of the company.

Sachin V. Sakhare

Deputy General Manager


Mr Sachin V. Sakhare has been managing our Ranjangaon moulding plant since he joined our company in 2021. As Deputy General Manager, Mr Sakhare has single-handedly changed the mindset of the division members to encourage out-of-box thinking, which in turn has provided us with productivity, conversion cost and safety benefits. Mr Sakhare introduced the concept of Karakuri Kaizens and various other low-cost automation initiatives at K. K. Nag Pvt. Ltd. He is highly committed to Total Quality Management and continuous improvement, which has translated into the success of the various cross-functional teams at Ranjangaon.

Shashikant V. Kadekar
