We are looking to hire the Head of Finished Goods with a proven track record of increasing the Company’s bottom-line through proper planning of stock production, storage and movement of finished goods.
The job responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):
- Planning – Ensuring despatches are as per plan – Meeting the quality, quantity, on time requirements by planning accordingly
- Inventory – Organizing and maintaining inventories, and ensuring optimal stock levels using inventory management principles
- Warehouse Management – Overseeing receiving, warehousing, distribution and maintenance operations. Setting up layout and ensure efficient space utilization.
- Product Assembly – Planning for product assembly through manpower and line management
- Manpower Management – Allocating manpower for packing, loading and unloading, etc. to meet the delivery requirements
- Shipping/Transport Management – Ensuring trucks are loaded and unloaded properly, and that all scheduled shipments are delivered on time
- Quality – Ensuring the highest level of quality of the finished goods
- Safety – Ensuring safety practices are followed, and that self-inspection, safety, and customer audits are handled
- Documentation: Preparing periodic warehouse and despatch reports through use of available technological tools such as ERP, MS Excel and any other such similar software
- Customer Satisfaction – Ensuring the promotion of customer focus throughout the department
