Job Description
The job responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):
Recruitment and Workforce Management
- Coordinate contractual hiring activities including requisition processing, onboarding and induction.
- Liaise with department heads for manpower planning and workforce requirements.
- Maintain recruitment records and employee documentation.
HR Operations
- Manage attendance, leave, shift rosters and payroll inputs.
- Support onboarding, transfers, separations and employee record maintenance.
- Ensure timely and accurate HR documentation.
Training and Development
- Coordinate technical, behavioural, safety and compliance training programs.
- Develop and monitor the annual training calendar.
- Track training effectiveness and maintain training records.
Employee Relations and Engagement
- Support grievance handling and employee welfare initiatives.
- Coordinate employee engagement activities, health camps and safety drives.
- Promote a positive and productive work environment.
Compliance and Administration
- Ensure compliance with PF, ESIC, Factory Act and labour law requirements.
- Maintain statutory records, licenses and audit documentation.
- Coordinate internal, statutory and customer audits.
Facilities and Vendor Management
- Oversee housekeeping, canteen, security, transport and facility services.
- Monitor contractor and vendor compliance and performance.
- Ensure workplace safety and infrastructure maintenance.
MIS and Reporting
- Prepare HR MIS, dashboards and manpower reports.
- Track HR and Admin budgets and expenses.
- Support workforce planning through data analysis and reporting.
Mandatory Requirements
- Knowledge of Recruitment, HR Operations and Administration.
- Knowledge of Labour Laws, PF, ESIC and Factory Act compliance.
- Proficiency in HRMS/ERP and MS Excel.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in MIS reporting and data analysis.
- Knowledge of contractor and vendor management.
- Understanding of employee engagement and grievance handling.
- Ability to support audits and compliance activities.
Preferred Experience
- Manufacturing/Plant HR environment preferred.
- Exposure to Industrial Relations and workforce management.
- MBA/PGDM in HR or equivalent qualification preferred.
